Les étudiants sont invités à participer aux activités très variées organisées régulièrement par l’école : projection de films, excursions, concerts, opéras, visites guidées etc.. Toutes les semaines, en dehors des heures de cours, des conférences sur la littérature, l’histoire, les régions, les villes, la cuisine et les vins du pays sont organisées. Rome se visite aisément à pied. La rue principale du centre est la “Via del Corso”, s’étirant de la “Piazza del Popolo” jusqu’à la “Piazza Venezia”. Elle est bordée de magasins, d’églises et de palais , et s’anime surtout en fin de journée lorsque les Romains sortent en masse pour la “passeggiata”. La place Saint-Pierre, le musée du Vatican, la chapelle Sixtine, le musée Pio-Clementino, connu pour sa précieuse collection de sculptures antiques, et, bien entendu, le Colisée sont des sites à ne pas manquer.
