The school is located in the Social Studies part of the campus. Students of Grand Valley State University are offered a choice of over 90 different courses including cinema studies, tourism, social studies and much more. Le campus compte une piscine, un mur d'escalade et un terrain de golf. Toutes ces infrastructures sont accessibles tant aux étudiants américains qu'aux étudiants d'ELS. L'école propose des activités en soirée, notamment dans les bars, restaurants et discothèque de la ville; les américains organisent également souvent des soirées sur le campus, auxquelles les étudiants étrangers sont les bienvenus. Durant le week-end des excursions sont organisées dans la région, mais également en ville afin de permettre aux étudiants de se familiariser avec Grand Rapids.
