High School Programs in Surrey

Located on the spectacular west coast of Canada, Surrey School District is just 40 minutes southeast of the city of Vancouver and 2 hours north of Seattle, Washington, in the United States.

Surrey offers educational services to students residing in one of the fastest-growing Canadian cities, the city of Surrey, and the beautiful oceanfront community of White Rock.
The Surrey School District is the largest public school district in British Columbia, Canada, and the ideal place for international students to achieve their academic goals while experiencing a true Canadian lifestyle.

International students are welcome to study alongside Canadian students in over 100 elementary schools and 21 secondary schools, subject to availability. International students can enroll twice per school year (September and February) and are integrated into regular classes with Canadian students while receiving English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction.
There is a limited number of international students (5%) enrolled in each school to ensure that each student receives the necessary support and services for academic success.
Currently, over 750 international students are studying among more than 75,000 Canadian students.

At Surrey School District, we take pride in offering unique educational opportunities that cater to the needs of every student. In addition to a solid foundation in core academic subjects such as English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Second Languages, our students choose from a wide variety of elective courses in the fields of technology, business, fine arts, trades, and athletics.
