Our programs in public schools are located in the attractive cities of Augsburg, Berlin, Cologne, Koblenz, Montabaur, Nuremberg, Oldenburg, and Potsdam. You can choose your desired city based on your preferences.
During your stay in Germany, you will be accommodated in a carefully selected host family by our local partner. You will quickly feel at ease and become part of the family just like any other member.
Host families can be single individuals, couples with or without children. They can be working full-time or retired individuals who have more time to dedicate to you.
Our partner regularly inspects the families we work with, and many of them have years of experience hosting our students.
Our international students have the same rights and responsibilities as German children and must respect the rules of family life.
The host family provides the student with an individual room and full board. They offer three meals per day (breakfast, packed lunch, and dinner).
For more information on this topic, please refer to our guide.
In addition to the host family, a local organizer is available to assist the student on-site in case of questions or difficulties. This mentor welcomes the student upon their arrival in Germany and provides guidance and support throughout their stay.
They have regular meetings with the student to ensure their well-being.
Our partner is required by law to arrange health, accident, and liability insurance for the student. The cost of insurance is not included in the program price. This insurance is valid in all European Union countries, allowing the student to travel to other countries during their stay.
Please note that travel is only possible with prior authorization from our partner in Germany.
All the schools we offer are "Gymnasiums," which are a type of secondary school that prepares students for university studies. 30% of German students choose this type of secondary school because it is dedicated to highly motivated students who plan to pursue higher education.
All families are regularly inspected and monitored by our partner. Our families are very welcoming and have been working with us for several years. They are located near public transportation for easy access to the school where you will be placed. During your stay, you will have your own room with full board included.
