You will share the daily life of a host family and attend Indian River Charter High School in Vero Beach, a renowned seaside resort in Florida and a true paradise for golf and water activities. The school offers numerous extracurricular activities, music and art programs, and is particularly known for its golf courses. Focused on the well-being and personal development of its students, it provides a relaxed atmosphere and high-quality education. You can choose to go for either 1 semester or 1 school year, before senior year or after completing high school.
The Indian River Charter High School (IRCHS) was founded in 1998 as a small non-traditional public high school, emphasizing character development, academic success, career readiness, and cultural awareness.
With a limited enrollment of approximately 770 students, the school operates under the auspices of a nonprofit private organization and is governed by a community board of directors.
Currently, IRCHS is rated "A" by the Florida school grading system and has been the highest-rated high school in Indian River County for the past 10 years.
The school is excited to provide international students with the opportunity to experience full immersion in American life through host families.
