The language school offers Italian courses throughout the year for language enthusiasts who want to improve their level through a language stay in Italy. Established in 1997, the school is located in one of the most beautiful streets of the city, close to the historic center of Salerno. The school provides 14 classrooms, multimedia rooms, a cinema, and a library for its students. Accademia Italiana guarantees high-quality courses recognized by several international language travel organizations.
To ensure a stay that suits your needs and expectations, the school offers different programs:
The standard program gives you access to 20 Italian lessons of 45 minutes per week.
The standard+ program is suitable for those who want more class hours, with 30 Italian lessons of 45 minutes per week.
For both programs, study groups are composed of a maximum of 10 students for personalized attention and a friendly learning environment. The courses are accessible to students aged 16 and above, grouped according to their level at the beginning of the stay and open to beginners.
In addition to Italian courses, the school organizes leisure activities and excursions in the surroundings of Salerno to enjoy the wonders of Campania and interact with fellow group members in a different language than their native one.
For students aged 45 and above who want to meet people from different backgrounds, the school offers a program of 20 Italian lessons of 45 minutes per week over a two-week duration, combined with a series of activities focused on Italian culture and folklore. Participants have the opportunity to attend a cooking or pottery class, explore the city of Salerno, go on a day trip in the region, and visit mozzarella, olive oil, wine, or limoncello factories for tastings.
Apartments: This option is suitable for independent individuals who share a single or double room in a shared apartment. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen and a shared bathroom with other roommates. Located in the city center, students can easily walk to the language school.
Homestay: To promote immersion in the Italian language and culture, those who wish can stay with an Italian host family and have an additional opportunity to experience local culture. Single or double rooms are available, and you can choose between half-board accommodation, which includes breakfast and dinner with the family, or breakfast-only accommodation. Host families generally live in the city center, about ten minutes away from the school.
The school organizes transfers from Naples or Salerno airports to your accommodation for an additional fee.
The school's team offers students a rich program of social and cultural activities, most of which are included in your course program. You can attend weekly seminars on cultural topics, visit the historic center of Salerno, and participate in various events organized by the school, such as theater, cinema, or concert outings in the city or its surroundings.
Additionally, the school organizes weekly excursions at a special rate. You will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful towns of Amalfi, Ravello, or Sorrento, as well as the famous archaeological sites of Pompeii and Paestum, where the remains of the Greco-Roman civilization are still preserved. Special visits to mozzarella, olive oil, wine, or limoncello factories can be arranged based on demand. These visits take place in the afternoon and last approximately 2 hours.
