Lexis Language School is located just a few steps from the city center and the beach. It has several spacious and modern classrooms that facilitate rapid and effective English learning. The center provides Wi-Fi access, a common room with a TV, DVD player, gaming console, pool table, and table tennis. These facilities allow students on a language study trip to relax and unwind between lessons. A small kitchen equipped with a microwave is also available for their use.
In addition to general English courses, you have the opportunity to take Cambridge exam preparation courses (FCE and CAE) as well as IELTS preparation. Please note that there are specific course start dates, and the minimum duration for Cambridge exam preparation is 8 weeks, and 12 weeks for IELTS. For thrill-seekers, Lexis offers an English+surf program, allowing you to improve your English while enjoying the waves!
Lexis offers several accommodation options.
Homestay: Students can request a single room with a shared bathroom. The host family provides either half-board meals or breakfast only. Students who want to immerse themselves in Australian culture will prefer this type of accommodation as it allows them to experience the daily life of a traditional Australian family.
Mahogany Drive Student House: This student residence is available for students on a language study trip in Byron Bay. It consists of four modern bedrooms and is located about a 20-minute bike ride from the language school and just a three-minute walk from the beach and shops. It's a splendid and ideal place for a complete immersion experience.
