It's in New Haven, Connecticut, that the Converse English School welcomes teenagers on a language stay on the prestigious campus of Yale University. Considered one of the top universities in the Ivy League, young students in this language stay program study and live directly on the campus, within the university's premises, for total immersion in American student culture. With its magnificent historic buildings, arches, period gates, lawns, and pedestrian paths, Yale University's site is often referred to as the "most beautiful urban campus in America." Teenagers participate in a high-level second language English program in small groups of 8 to 10 students, delivered with a pedagogy that emphasizes expression, particularly through cultural workshops on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
