The Language Stay

This exclusive program consists of eight daily English lessons, four days a week, taught in small groups of 6 or 7 students, under the guidance of a specialized and highly qualified English teacher. The young people are divided into three age groups: Teens (9 to 12), Juniors (13 to 15), and Seniors (16 to 18). English classes are offered every morning, while the afternoons are reserved for optional or complementary activities: swimming, art workshops, music and theater workshops, and sports on the school facilities (squash and tennis courts, football and basketball fields, swimming pool, etc.). For the options, Lines offers a choice of three options, practiced in the afternoon instead of complementary activities, in prestigious locations with professionals: Football with Berkshire Elite, Golf with Golf Academy, and music with professional musicians. In the evenings, optional activities conclude the day on a friendly and entertaining note: movie nights, ice skating, bowling, etc.
On Saturdays, the young people join a sightseeing excursion to discover the sights and points of interest in the region. On Sundays, they can choose to stay at the center to enjoy supervised activities or book an outing to a show, amusement park, and many other options!

Accommodation

The young people are housed at Downe House itself, in comfortable rooms accommodating one to four students. The younger ones are usually accommodated in four-bedded rooms, while the older ones are placed in double or single rooms. The stays are organized on a full-board basis, including 3 meals a day prepared with quality products and eaten together in the school's dining hall.
