The Converse School (CISL) is located within the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), considered one of the best universities in the world. On this splendid campus with vast green spaces adorned with towering eucalyptus trees, young students in a language stay in San Diego participate in a program of 20 English lessons under the guidance of experienced teachers specially trained in teaching English as a second language. The classes are scheduled in the morning, allowing students to explore the countless interesting cities and tourist sites in the region for a total cultural and linguistic immersion.
English classes are held every morning from 9 am to 12:30 pm, and students enjoy the afternoons for activities and exploring the California region.

In addition to English classes, the school organizes a diverse range of activities to complement the language course program during the language stay. Many visits and excursions are offered to teenagers to discover the region: walks, cruises, shopping, beach trips, and kayaking are included in the schedule. In particular, every Saturday is dedicated to an outing, such as a visit to the zoo or to Los Angeles. Additionally, two afternoons per week are devoted to cultural workshops. The work done during these workshops becomes the subject matter for further study during the classes. To liven up the evenings, karaoke, salsa sessions, discos, and various festivities are organized, all under the constant supervision of the staff.
During their language stay in San Diego, young students can choose to be accommodated in a host family or in student residences located directly on the university campus of the University of San Diego. In the residence option, they stay in shared rooms with full board. In host families, participants are accommodated in single or double rooms with half board.
San Diego is a little piece of paradise in the USA, located in the extreme south of California, on the West Coast of the country, by the Pacific Ocean and close to the Mexican border. In this privileged region where temperatures are summer-like all year round, the beautiful sandy beaches delight water sports enthusiasts.
The school organizes transfers from San Diego and Los Angeles airports. Transfer between the residence and the airport at the end of the program is also provided. These services are offered at an additional cost.
