Learning English in a different way, that's the goal of Kings Education language school in New York. The school welcomes students aged 12 to 17 and offers them the opportunity to experience a language stay in one of the most famous cities in the world. English classes are held on the Mount Saint Vincent campus, providing students with quality education. Learners have access to tailor-made programs and an environment that ensures their full development.
Located in Riverdale, the Mount Saint Vincent campus has comprehensive facilities dedicated to academic training and leisure. In addition to classrooms, students can enjoy a football field, a multipurpose sports hall, a dance studio, and green spaces.
Each week, 15 English classes of one-hour sessions are offered. The training usually lasts 2 or 4 weeks. Regardless of the student's level, the quality of teaching remains guaranteed. The classes cover various topics to develop or improve writing and speaking skills. This includes exploring American and British culture, as well as more current social topics such as digital technology and climate change. The content of the classes is not fixed and adapts to the profile of each student, regardless of their country of origin.
During their language stay, students can engage in a variety of activities designed to facilitate their integration and stimulate their intellect. These activities include dance, karaoke, board games, fashion shows, basketball, baseball, American football, and more. Everything is done to ensure that teenagers, regardless of their interests, can find leisure activities to suit their preferences. This gives them the opportunity, during their school holidays, to achieve multiple goals: learning English and deepening their passions for art and sports.
As part of their stay at the Kings Summer Center, students have the opportunity to enjoy excursions to various points of interest in New York City. Some of the sites include Central Park, the impressive Empire State Building, the American Museum of Natural History, and the iconic Statue of Liberty.
Located within the Mount Saint Vincent campus, student accommodations consist of shared bathrooms and 2 beds. Students have access to common areas and a cafeteria where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served. The menus can be adapted to different dietary needs, including vegan and vegetarian options.
Participants have the option to arrive and depart from New York JFK, Newark, or La Guardia airports to benefit from a transfer between one of the airports and Mount St Vincent campus.
