Maynooth is a small picturesque Irish town with a population of 8,500. It is located just 30 minutes from downtown Dublin and a 5-minute walk from the town center. The Maynooth University site, which spans 40 hectares, is divided into two parts: the north campus (the old part) and the south campus (the modern part). Both are connected by a pedestrian bridge over the road.
Apollo School offers a program in Dublin at the renowned Maynooth University, known for its spectacular campus with numerous sports facilities. International students study English in the university premises and are accommodated in a comfortable residence on campus, close to classrooms and sports facilities. The residence is located in the modern north part of the campus. The young students stay in shared apartments with comfortable individual rooms, a living room, a bathroom, and a kitchenette for snacks or drinks. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the residence. All meals are served in the cafeteria. The school offers a diverse supervised activities program, including 2 full-day excursions on Wednesday and Saturday, a visit to Dublin on Sunday, as well as a wide variety of activities every afternoon and evening. By participating in this program, young students not only benefit from an excellent foreign language experience but also get to explore the rich Irish culture!
With a total of 15 hours of weekly classes, this course program aims to improve oral, listening, reading, and writing skills in English. The lessons are structured interactively to captivate students' interest, using modern and engaging educational materials, with a focus on conversation and youth-oriented topics. In addition to the 15 hours of classes, students have the option to choose the "English Focus" option for free, which provides access to 5 additional hours of English per week instead of 2 activities.
