The program consists of 20 lessons of Spanish, with each lesson lasting 45 minutes, totaling 15 hours per week. The classes will take place from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, with 4 lessons per day. The aim is to promote communication among students, and for that purpose, practical activities will be organized outside of the classes. The classes are conducted in small groups of an average of 8 to 15 students, supervised by a team of experienced and qualified teachers. They will use a communicative teaching method that covers various fundamental aspects of the language, including grammar, speaking, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation, etc. Students will take a placement test upon arrival to be grouped according to their level, and there are 6 levels offered, ranging from beginner to advanced. Spanish and international students will be separated during the morning classes and will come together for the rest of the day. At the end of the camp, each student will receive a certificate and a detailed evaluation.
During each two-week period, excursions are organized, including at least one full-day excursion and two half-day excursions to local points of interest. The excursions allow students to discover the cultural, culinary, and geographical richness of Spain and enjoy the attractions of the region. Full-day excursions include Seville, Granada, La Alhambra, Tarifa, Ronda, Malaga, etc. Half-day excursions include the city of Marbella, a water park, Aventura Amazonia, Bioparc, Puerto Banus, etc.
The accommodation is located within the university campus, providing a community living experience with an international and multicultural atmosphere that promotes language practice outside the classrooms. Spanish and international students stay together to participate in sports and cultural activities and also share rooms grouped according to their age and gender. The number of beds per room depends on availability. Campers sleep in rooms of 4 to 6 and 6 to 12 people for younger participants, equipped with bunk beds, closets, and air conditioning. Spanish cuisine is highlighted to allow young people to experience local gastronomy. Meals, mainly composed of Spanish and Mediterranean products, are served at Spanish hours, including a light breakfast, lunch around 2 pm, a snack, and dinner.
