Flights are not included in the prices displayed by AILS on this website.
The flight reservation service is not organized by AILS, and you always have the option, in certain cases (such as in Germany or Spain), to personally take your child directly to the center.
The acronym UM (Unaccompanied Minors) is used by airlines to refer to children traveling alone.
UMs are supervised by an airline agent from check-in at the departure airport.
They receive continuous assistance from the agent until they are handed over to a specifically designated person at the arrival airport, upon verifying their identity.
This person must be in possession of a valid identification document.
Please note: The minimum age at which a child is allowed to travel alone varies from one airline to another.
It is also important to note that schools charge an additional fee for UM transfers because the accompanying staff spends more time at the airport with the child.
Due to the special arrangements required, please inform us as soon as you open your child's file if they will be traveling as an UM or not.
| IMPORTANT | Please emphasize this point at the time of booking, as some airlines do not accept the boarding of unaccompanied children because they do not provide the UM service.
