Our residential Summer Center in Bath is much more than just a summer camp for juniors and teenagers. Our residential Summer Center in Bath is based at Downside School, one of the oldest and prestigious private educational institutions in the country, occupying a 500-acre property at the foot of the Mendip Hills. The center offers summer courses specially designed for juniors and teenagers, providing a perfect balance of classes, sports, activities, and excursions. The activities offered include tennis, horse riding, and even a Harry Potter experience, with 6 hours of magic, enchantment, and Potter-related fun. The center is conveniently located just 25 minutes south of the city of Bath, in Somerset, and two and a half hours from London, providing easy access to major cities in the UK.
The school facilities include single and double rooms, as well as dormitories for 4 to 8 students. Students also have a variety of dining options, with hot meals served for lunch and dinner, as well as daily breakfast.
The offered excursions include visits to local tourist sites, as well as free time for shopping.
Entries for excursions are included when indicated on the schedule, and all excursions are supervised by Kings staff members. Alternative excursions and entries are also available upon request.
