With Lexis Japan, your summer Japanese learning experience goes beyond the classroom walls! Being recognized as the best Junior program worldwide, Lexis Japanese school offers the opportunity for 13 to 17-year-olds to join their language program and take their Japanese language skills to the next level in their Kobe school! In the afternoons, you will study Japanese in a fast and efficient manner with students of the same age group. In the mornings, the school organizes activities such as sports, sightseeing, and social activities that will allow you to form friendships that can last a lifetime! The experience of carefully selected host families by the Lexis staff will leave you amazed.

Visits to Kobe, Japanese cuisine...
The summer program offered by Lexis language school allows for a combination of 15 hours of lessons per week, taught by experienced and carefully selected teachers, and a multi-activity program that will appeal to each young participant. Japanese language classes are held in the afternoon, and the other half of the day is dedicated to the activity program (city tours, visits to nearby tourist attractions, museums, zoo, various workshops), as well as an optional full-day excursion on the weekend.
The Lexis Junior program includes a wide range of activities. Five mornings per week are reserved for visits, workshops, and outings such as city tours, zoo visits, sightseeing, calligraphy workshops, kimono experiences, or even Japanese cooking classes. Every weekend, an optional excursion (with additional cost) is offered to the students, and it is organized as a full-day trip to places like Kyoto, a baseball game, or Universal Studio Japan! This will make your language stay truly unforgettable!
Young participants in the Lexis Japan Junior program are accommodated in homestays. These host families are carefully selected by the language school's team. The students will stay in single or double rooms. Meals provided are half-board; breakfast and dinner are taken with the host family, while lunch during the week can be easily purchased at restaurants/bakeries located near the Lexis school. Once the student arrives, the host families will show them the way to the school. The homestay experience allows young learners to have a complete immersion in the language and local culture. They can engage in conversations with the family on various topics during designated evenings and establish genuine connections. A curfew must be respected.
Kobe is the 6th largest city in Japan and has one of the country's largest ports. With its high-quality restaurants, large shopping centers, and numerous tourist sites, Kobe has something to offer for everyone! This major port city boasts beautiful parks, magnificent Buddhist temples, and a popular Chinatown that attracts tourists from around the world.
A team member can pick up participants upon their arrival at the airport. Round-trip transfers are included in the program price.
