The Multi-Activity Program offers students a choice of 15 or 20 hours and 30 minutes of English classes per week in groups of maximum 15 people, combined with cultural and sports activities every afternoon and evening from Monday to Friday. They can participate in various sports such as football, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and basketball. Additionally, they will explore Dublin city center, the Dublin stadium, and museum. This program is ideal for young people who want to engage in sports and visit Dublin. CES Dublin School also offers a program with a Rugby option.
In addition to the 15 hours of English classes per week in groups of maximum 15 people, the Rugby program includes 4 afternoons per week supervised by a qualified coach and a meeting with players from the Irish Rugby Institute. The classes allow young rugby enthusiasts to progress over two weeks from Tuesday to Friday afternoon in all aspects of rugby: passing, tackling, kicking, as well as endurance techniques, nutrition, and physical and mental strength development. Attention! Participants must bring their mouthguards and shoes, and have insurance coverage in case of accidents during sports activities. At the end of this program, rugby players will receive a certificate from the Irish Rugby Institute. With the FCE Preparation program, students will benefit from 15 hours of group English classes over 4 weeks dedicated to Cambridge FCE exam preparation, which they will take at the end of the program. This program requires a minimum upper-intermediate level. Sports and cultural activities will be organized every afternoon. In the evenings, participants are invited to events such as greyhound racing, Irish dancing, cinema nights, or shows. A disco night is organized every Thursday evening. Every Saturday, a full-day excursion is offered to teenagers to explore cities like Belfast, Kilkenny, Athlone, or others.
Students will be accommodated in host families located in residential neighborhoods in Dublin. They will have a shared room (2 to 3 beds) and full board. Breakfast and dinner will be taken with the family, while the family will provide them with a packed lunch for midday and during excursion days. The public transportation pass costs approximately 77 EUR for two weeks or 105 EUR for three weeks and will be paid on-site.
