If you love nature and outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and campfires, and you want to have an unforgettable language stay with friends from around the world, then the GLS Munich Adventure program is perfect for you. It is located on the shores of Lake Spitzingsee, one of the clearest lakes in the Bavarian Alps, 50 km south of Munich. The beautiful chalet that accommodates young foreign students is a hotel privatized by GLS for language training during school holidays.
The German courses taught by passionate teachers that allow real progress and the outdoor activities offered will undoubtedly delight you! The program includes 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week with a maximum of 12 students per class. The GLS school provides high-quality education. It perfectly combines necessary theory to develop everyone's basic skills with numerous role plays, conversations, and oral expressions to inspire German practice. All lessons are interactive and fun, emphasizing group work and oral presentations. You will be accommodated in the "Haus Bergsee" hotel, which is equipped with 7 classrooms, a garden, a climbing wall, a sauna, a fitness room, and a common room with a TV, all located by the lake in 3 to 4-bed rooms. Each room has its own shower and toilet, and full board will allow you to savor local dishes in the cafeteria.
In addition to the German courses, you can enjoy numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, rafting, and campfires. You will also have the opportunity to engage in more exciting activities such as raft building and bivouacking. The school also organizes excursions to Munich and its surroundings. GLS staff members will stay with you throughout the stay to ensure your well-being and accompany you during activities and excursions.
