San Diego is a coastal and urban city bordered by the Pacific Ocean. With its Mediterranean climate, it offers the opportunity to study English and enjoy a wide range of activities in an idyllic setting. Visit the famous zoo, take surf lessons, stroll through Balboa Park, go hiking, or explore neighboring cities such as Los Angeles or Santa Barbara.

Option: surfing
Located in the heart of Downtown San Diego and close to the vibrant Gaslamp and Little Italy neighborhoods, the CEL English school offers a friendly and dynamic study environment. It has modern and diverse facilities, including classrooms equipped with Smart TVs, air conditioning, a spacious lounge, computers, Wi-Fi access, and a kitchenette with a microwave.
Young students are accommodated in local host families, allowing them to have a unique experience and discover American culture. These families are carefully selected by CEL and provide accommodation in double rooms (single rooms available upon request) with shared bathrooms. Students receive full board during weekdays and half board during weekends.
Regarding daily transportation, students are provided with a bus pass and receive instructions on the route upon their arrival. Host families are typically located around 45 minutes away from the school.
The language school offers young students a comprehensive and varied program accessible to all. From Monday to Friday, students have 20 lessons of 45 minutes each in English. These English courses are designed for teenagers and are conducted in groups of up to 15 people. Activities are also offered throughout the language stay, allowing students to explore the city and the San Diego region, including visits to the zoo, museums, hiking, and beach sports activities, among others. Four half-day activities are planned each week, along with a full-day excursion every Saturday.
Surf Option
The school also offers the opportunity to combine English learning with surfing through a surf package, which includes 20 lessons of 45 minutes in English and surf lessons (1 hour and 30 minutes) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons. It is also possible to book only one surf lesson (1 hour and 30 minutes) per week.
Airport transfers (mandatory) are organized from San Diego and Los Angeles airports. Please adhere to the specified arrival and departure days.
