Located in the center of Boston, the capital of Massachusetts in the United States, Kaplan School welcomes students from around the world for a language stay organized by AILS. They will be fully immersed in the USA, with a combination of classes and exploration of the city and its inhabitants, in order to learn and improve their English.
Recently renovated, the school is ideally situated near the famous Harvard University, the public garden, shops, Chinatown, and also Lansdowne Street, the center of Boston's nightlife. Students can make the most of this vibrant city, its leisure activities, student life, and tourist attractions. Easily accessible, they can reach it on foot or by public transportation, with the nearest subway stop being Kenmore Square.
These international students will have access to all the facilities provided by the school: classrooms, interactive whiteboards, computer rooms, relaxation areas, sports facilities, and free Wi-Fi access. All of this is designed to enhance their learning experience and quality of life.
Kaplan School offers various types of English courses. Students can choose from "standard" lessons, "semi-intensive" lessons with 15 hours per week, or "intensive" lessons with 21 hours per week to make faster progress. They can also opt for long-term language stays through various long-term course programs.
Finally, for more advanced students, the school offers a business English program as well as exam preparation courses such as GMAT, TOEFL, or GRE.
Students have the option to choose from two types of accommodation:
Student Residences: These include apartments and youth hostels with single, twin, or double rooms, as well as dormitories. These residences allow students to maintain their independence and make new connections with fellow young people.
Homestays: Students can choose to stay with carefully selected host families. This type of accommodation includes breakfast and dinner with the family. It's a great way to experience the country's culture and rapidly improve English skills by practicing it daily.
