Two accommodation options are available:
Homestay accommodation includes a single or double room, breakfast, and evening meals. This option is ideal for immersing yourself in American culture and experiencing the daily lifestyle of Americans. It allows you to become comfortable with everyday expressions and provides the opportunity to communicate on a daily basis in a warm environment. Please note that each host family is selected and monitored by the school.
The second option is residence accommodation, which includes a single room, equipped kitchen, and common relaxation areas shared with other students. The "International House" is located near the University of Chicago campus. It hosts students from around the world as well as American students, providing you with the opportunity to meet young people from different nationalities and cultures. It's a unique and enriching experience!
The school organizes outings and activities that allow you to get to know other students outside of the classroom environment. However, you can also create your own schedule to make sure you don't miss out on the surprising attractions of Chicago. You can cheer on the city's iconic sports teams, such as the Bulls (basketball), Bears (American football), White Sox and Cubs (baseball), and Fire (soccer). Take a stroll along Lake Michigan or hop on a boat to see the city from a different perspective. In the evening, there's nothing like a jazz or blues club to unwind and end the day on a peaceful note!
